Favour & Cake topper Ideas!
Two items I found tonight on Wedding Things that I thought we neat finds! Order them right from the website.
Each collection includes 8 infusers in total, along with a cocktail recipe book. Surprise your guests with these unique favours (Or great for the bridal shower or stagette events!)
Secondly, I think this cake topper is adorable.
Reminds me of Old Hollywood Glamour, the 50's, or a retro theme. Just something different from fresh flowers or the typical bride and groom figurines (not that those aren't fantastic).
Wedding Things has multiple warehouses in the US and Canada and also ships internationally. You can visit their warehouse if you'd like to see items before ordering and even order sample favour packages.
Shipping: Orders are processed immediately and shipped out within 24 hours or the next business day (exceptions: personalized wedding favors, special orders and back orders).

Wedding Venues
While most of you have heard of these three featured venues, most wouldn't initially think of them as wedding venues. In fact, these types of venues that don't necessarily cater predominantly to the wedding market have all the benefits of the typical two-year-waiting-list, high-cost and high-demand wedding venues. They may even be less expensive while still being able to provide most of your event necessities seeing as though they often host events in other capacities. The rates and fees for rentals may not spike during summer months (typically May through September) because of less demand in comparison to some wedding venues.
Venue 1) The Vancouver Public Library - Amazing Architecture
Despite the entire city block this building sits on, receptions actually feel cozy within its walls. Almost as if you're dining in the streets of Italy and noone else is around. Let the walls of this beautiful building host to you and your guests and dance the night away.
Venue 2) The Museum of Vancouver - Location Location Location!
This venue differs from my other two selections because it's ideal for both ceremonies and receptions. Vanier Park provides beautiful views and a quiet corner of the city to host an outdoor ceremony while overlooking the Burrard Inlet, Sunset Beach and the downtown West end and beaches. You can then move your guests indoor to enjoy the reception next to the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the park. The natural backdrops are almost unbeatable.
Venue 3) The Keefer Hotel Penthouse - Contemporary Luxury
This beautifully restored heritage building in chinatown is a hidden boutique hotel completely unique to Vancouver. The rooftop patio could be ideal for cocktail hours and receptions for smaller weddings for up to about 70 people. With an amazing view, roof-top pool and contemporary decor both inside and out, surprise your guests with something off-the-beaten path for your reception.

Vendor Spotlight: Michael Tedham

The image of Michael Tedham, President and head DJ of Man About Town Entertainment, that first comes to mind right now is one of a relaxed Michael on a friend's couch at her birthday gathering of about a dozen people. The group was a mix-up of friends of a friend who have known her through different aspects of her life - school, work, highschool (me) - so therefore plenty of us meeting for the first time. Nonetheless, Michael naturally tells tales making us all laugh, smile and share common moments together. He walked into the room with ease and speaks to each individual as though he's known them for years just as smoothly as he entertains the group as a whole with his upbeat personality and energy.
These are exactly the qualities you want in a person who is going to be part of your wedding night. Michael's energy is electric, with groups of all sizes and shapes! He's a man you can trust to be there and keep the energy up all night and get your guests on the dance floor!
